Hosted virtually by the SAIGE-NC* Division, earn 6 hours of NBCC credit on January 20, 2023, by taking "Blasting the Binary: Cultural Competency in Working with Gender Expansive Clients" with Angela Brooks-Livingston, MA, NCC, LCMHCS, LCAS, CCS. This training will be didactic with discussion around topics such as intersectionality, ethics, transition process, and client cases.

Objective for the training:

  • Discussing legal and ethical aspects of working with this population.
  • Learn about the social construction of gender and intersectionality of identities, with specific interventions in working with the community.
  • Explore case conceptualizations and specific interventions.
  • Review the WPATH Standards of Care.
